How it works
An air-source heat pump uses electricity to transfer heat from the surrounding air into stored water. It is a different approach from a conventional electric resistance heater.
Suitability comes first
Ask about household demand, installation space, airflow, noise, electrical supply and the selected model's performance in your conditions. A suitable product and a well-planned installation matter more than a generic saving claim.
Compare installed cost and ongoing use
A useful comparison sets out the exact model, installation work, expected use, electricity tariff and any incentive assumptions. Savings vary. We will not turn a general estimate into a promise for your household.
Check incentives before committing
Some upgrades may qualify for incentives. Eligibility depends on the scheme, system and installation. Request an itemised quote that clearly identifies any discount and the amount you pay.
Your questions, answered.
Will a heat pump suit every property?
No. Space, demand, supply, siting and model-specific requirements all need to be assessed.
How much will I save?
A useful estimate needs your existing system, usage, tariff and the proposed model. No single percentage is guaranteed for every household.
Are rebates automatic?
No. Confirm eligibility, the proposed equipment and installation requirements before accepting an offer.
